Glasgow Film Festival 2024 line-up announced by Pigeon Shrine FrightFest

FrightFest, the premier horror fantasy event in the UK, is returning to the Glasgow Film Festival for its 19th year from Thursday, March 7th to Saturday, March 9th, 2024. We're excited to unveil the stellar lineup of talent set to grace the stage at the Glasgow Film Theatre.

Leading the pack is Emily Hampshire, known for her roles in "Schitt’s Creek" and "The Rig", who will be hosting the World Premiere of "MOM" alongside director Adam O’Brien. Emily not only stars in the film but also serves as Executive Producer.

Joining us as well is the mega-genre talent Lauren LaVera, star of "Terrifier 2" and the upcoming "Terrifier 3", presenting her latest chilling movie, "THE WELL", alongside Italian director Federico Zampaglione.

Abigail Hardingham, acclaimed for her performances in "The Missing" and "Nina Forever", will also grace us with her presence for the World Premiere of "CUSTOM", a passion project in which she stars and co-produces. Director Tiago Teixeirin, marking his impactful feature film debut, and co-star Samantha Steel will also be in attendance.

Also marking their feature film debut with "KILL YOUR LOVER" are dynamic filmmaker duo Alix Austin and Keir Siewert, who will be in Glasgow alongside key cast members Paige Gilmour and Fair City’s Shane Quigley-Murphy.

While the monster in "THE INVISIBLE RAPTOR" may be unseen, the talent behind it certainly isn't. Joining us are writer, lead actor, and producer Mike Capes, as well as actor David Shackleford.

The genre is experiencing an influx of emerging new auteurs, and we're delighted to welcome two talented directors into the fold - Paul Duane, director of "ALL YOU NEED IS DEATH", and Alan Scott Neal, director of "LAST STRAW".

Please note that all films contain graphic scenes of strong violence and sustained threat.
